Terms of Service

Effective August 16, 2026

These terms govern your use of Entitled, a Shopify app built and operated by Banana For Scale AS ("we", "us"). By installing Entitled from the Shopify App Store, you agree to them. If you're installing on behalf of a business, you're confirming you have the authority to do so.

The service

Entitled scores your Shopify catalog against AI-search readiness rules, and — with your review and approval, or automatically for entity types where you've turned on auto-apply — uses AI to rewrite product, collection and page titles and meta descriptions, generates FAQs for Shopify's Knowledge Base, tracks whether AI assistants mention your store, and submits changed URLs to search engines via IndexNow.

Plans and billing

Entitled offers a Free plan and a Pro plan (currently $6/month, including 500 AI generations/month). Billing is handled entirely through Shopify's Billing API — charges, upgrades, downgrades and cancellations follow Shopify's billing terms and cycle. We may change plan pricing or limits going forward; changes apply to new billing cycles, not ones already charged.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for reviewing AI-generated suggestions before they go live, unless you've explicitly enabled auto-apply for an entity type — in which case Entitled applies new AI suggestions for that type without per-item review, using the AI profile and rules you configured. You're responsible for the accuracy of the product and store data Entitled reads, and for making sure your listings comply with advertising and consumer-protection law in the markets you sell into.

AI-generated content

Titles, descriptions, FAQs and visibility results are generated by third-party AI models (Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity) and can occasionally be inaccurate, generic, or a poor fit for a specific product. We don't guarantee any particular search ranking, AI mention, or sales outcome from any score, suggestion or FAQ Entitled produces.

Your data if you uninstall

Titles and meta descriptions Entitled writes are saved directly to Shopify's native SEO fields. Uninstalling the app does not revert or remove them — they stay exactly as last approved. Undo is available for your most recent apply while the app is installed. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to stored data and connections on uninstall.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to circumvent the app's plan limits or AI credit system; don't use Entitled for a store selling illegal goods or services; don't use it in a way that abuses or disrupts the third-party APIs it depends on.

Availability

Entitled is provided "as is." We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service, and functionality depends on Shopify and third-party APIs (including Anthropic, OpenAI, Perplexity, Bing and Google) that are outside our control and can affect availability or accuracy.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Banana For Scale AS is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost sales, traffic, or search rankings arising from use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to Entitled is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Termination

You can uninstall Entitled at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access for abuse, non-payment, or violation of these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product changes. Continuing to use Entitled after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Norway, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.
